The Riu Merengue All Inclusive Resort in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, stands surrounded by mountains and 18,000 square yards of tropical vegetation. The resort is right on picturesque Bay at the Maimon, which provides a romantic and secluded setting.
The Riu Merengue stands in a complex near the Riu Bachata and Riu Mambo Hotels, just 16 miles from Puerto Plata International Airport. The all inclusive package features all meals, including full American breakfast buffets, unlimited domestic alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, access to all bars in the complex, and restocking of guestroom minibars and liquor dispensers. The resort also features a fitness center, billiards, volleyball, tennis, snorkeling gear, watersports and scuba diving. The package encompasses daytime entertainment for kids, entertainment for adults, entrance and drinks at Pacha Disco and entrance to Bachata's Casino.
Guests will enjoy the Riu Merenque's offerings, including lounges, restaurants with international and local cuisines, the disco, and poolside and beach bars. Fun lovers willing to venture 2,000 feet from the hotel into a cove will discover the La Vieja Tiki Bar.
Guests are close to the sights and Caribbean sounds of Puerto Plata and vibrant Caribbean Street's shops, nightclubs, cafes and Renova Spa.
